Hanna Kesseler

Hanna Kesseler is a Lecturer in Performance Coaching & Musicians' Health at the Mozarteum University's Institute for Coaching & Career. She holds affiliations with multiple institutions, including the Cologne University of Music and Dance and the Rheinische Musikschule Köln. Her roles span teaching, research, and professional training in musicians' health, optimal practice methods, and somatic techniques.

Education: Graduated with distinction from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in Rhythm and Music Pedagogy (special/remedial education, flute). Certified in Franklin Method® teaching, music physiology (UdK Berlin), and Optimal Üben (HfMT Cologne).

Research focuses on embodied learning, performance psychology, and preventing musician injuries. Active in professional societies: Board member of the German Society for Musicians' Medicine (DGFMM) since 2019 and Austrian Society for Music and Medicine since 2009.

Teaching expertise includes embodiment, dance/body training, and performance coaching. Leads workshops on mental coaching, breathing techniques, and individualized training for professional musicians.
