Dr. Hanif Malekpoor is a Lecturer in Big Data and Business Analytics at the Hull University Business School, University of Hull. He holds a PhD from the University of East Anglia (2014–2018), focusing on radiotherapy dose planning using case-based reasoning and multi-criteria decision-making. His professional experience includes roles as an analyst at the Logistics Institute (University of Hull) and a Research Fellow at the University of Greenwich.
His research interests span sustainable freight transportation, multimodal logistics, healthcare operations optimization, and renewable energy systems. He has contributed to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) projects and industry consultancy in logistics, healthcare, and energy sectors. Key themes include supply chain sustainability, big data analytics for decision-making, and disaster relief electrification.
Dr. Malekpoor is affiliated with the Logistics and Management Systems research group.
