Dr. Han-Wei Liu is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University's Business Law & Taxation department, concurrently serving as Associate Professor of Law at Singapore Management University. His research examines the intersection of technology and international economic law, with expertise in AI governance, data localization policies, and financial regulation. Work has been cited by governmental bodies including the Australian Productivity Commission and World Bank.
Research spans digital trade governance, regulatory frameworks for disruptive technologies, and China's digital policies. Recent publications analyze AI's impact on trade agreements and regulatory sandbox implementations.
