LIU Han-Wei is an Associate Professor of Law and Lee Kong Chian Fellow at Singapore Management University (SMU), serving as Deputy Director of the Centre for Digital Law (CDL) since 2024. He holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and advanced degrees from Columbia, Oxford, and National Chengchi University. His research focuses on International Economic Law, Law and Technology, and Regulatory Theory, with notable projects addressing semiconductor geopolitics, digital governance, and AI in trade frameworks. He has authored/co-authored influential books and over 30 peer-reviewed articles, including works on transatlantic digital divides and semiconductor trade disputes.
