J.M. (Han) Bakker, MA is a Tutor at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, University of Groningen. His roles include teaching professional didactics in philosophy of life and religion, supervising educational internships, and guiding master’s students in lesson study research.
His research interests span Education & Educational Research, Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Life, with a focus on developing teaching materials and practical training in primary/secondary education. He also serves as chairman of the supervisory board for the Katholieke Onderwijs Centrale (KOC), overseeing three Catholic primary schools in Groningen.
