Dr. Hamed Gamaleldien is an Assistant Professor at Khalifa University and an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University’s School of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS). He holds a Ph.D. in mantle chemical dynamics from Curtin University (2021) and a master’s in geology from Tanta University (2013). His research focuses on Earth evolution, tectonics/geodynamics, mantle petrology, and subduction zone geochemical cycles.

- Mantle plume-supercontinent cycle interactions
- Subduction zone geochemical cycling
- Deep mantle recycling processes
- Application of advanced analytical techniques (e.g., atom probe tomography)
Key Projects:
- Crustal growth history of the Arabian-Nubian Shield
