Hala Mansour is a Professor and Head of Doctoral Programmes at the Royal College of Art (RCA), leading the college's portfolio of doctoral research initiatives. With over 29 years of experience in Business Management, her work focuses on Leadership and Change, Business Studies, and Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. She oversees strategic initiatives to ensure high-quality doctoral education environments.
Her research explores topics such as sustainability-oriented innovation in supply chains, entrepreneurial leadership, and HR management reforms in academic institutions. Mansour has secured funding from Advance HE and the Leadership Foundation in Higher Education, and supervised over sixteen doctoral students. She actively contributes to academic governance, serving as a trustee at the UK Council of Graduate Education and on steering committees for conferences on postgraduate research equity and professional doctorates.
Mansour holds a Senior Fellowship in Higher Education and has published extensively, with notable works on organizational culture, technology-enhanced feedback systems (e.g., the Live Essay Feedback Checklist), and the role of HR practitioners as change agents. Her research bridges theoretical and practical dimensions of leadership, sustainability, and educational innovation.
