Hala Dika

Hala Dika serves as a Lecturer in the French Language Program at the University of Michigan's Residential College (RC), a distinctive living-learning community within East Quad. She teaches undergraduate French language courses and contributes to the RC's interdisciplinary humanities curriculum.

Her academic focus centers on French language pedagogy and educational methodology, with emphasis on:

• Contemporary French language instruction
• Cultural competency development
• Language acquisition frameworks
• Curriculum design for immersive learning

As an Engaged Michigan Partner, she integrates community-based learning into language education through initiatives like the Prison Creative Arts Project and Detroit Semester programs.
