Dr. Haiyan Huang is an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems and Coordinator of the CIS program at Flagler College. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State, an M.S. in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Alfred University, and a B.S. in Materials Science from Central South University, China.
Her research focuses on web usability, IT adoption, virtual collaboration, and diversity in IT workforces. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and conference papers, earning awards such as the IGI Journal Award (2009) and ACM SIGMIS Best Paper (2008).
