Hailiang Wang

Dr. Hailiang Wang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As a Presidential Young Scholar, he leads research at the intersection of human factors engineering, health informatics, and gerontechnology.

His research integrates VR/AR, AIoT, and wearable sensor systems to develop intelligent healthcare solutions for aging populations. Key areas include:

• Medical UX/UI design
• Age-friendly technology
• Occupational safety systems

Recent publications demonstrate expertise in systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and human performance modeling. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals for Health and Well-being and Quality Education.
