Haidee Cadd

Dr. Haidee Cadd is a Research Fellow at the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences (SEALS), University of Wollongong, Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health, since 2021. Her work focuses on reconstructing past environmental changes to inform contemporary fire management and climate adaptation strategies.

Her work addresses fire mitigation, conservation strategies, and pre-European fire regimes.

Scientific Contributions: She leads the SahulCHAR database for paleofire research and contributes to refining radiocarbon dating protocols. Her recent articles examine hydroclimate variability in Australian lakes, testate amoebae in biocrusts, and Indigenous fire management legacies.
