HaeAhn Kwon is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Fine Arts, practicing as an installation artist who combines heterogeneous materials and modes of production. Their work is influenced by vernacular architecture and interventions in urban/rural South Korea, often collaborating with Paul Kajander under the name HaeAhn Paul Kwon Kajander. Their methodology emphasizes frugal inventiveness in times of crisis and excess, challenging individual authorship through intertwined identities.
