Hadrian Mendoza is a Lecturer in Ceramics at The Department of Art, Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art, The Catholic University of America. His work emphasizes Southeast Asian indigenous forms, cultural identity, and abstract/expressionist sculpture. He holds an M.F.A. in Ceramics from The George Washington University.

Mendoza has curated major international ceramics exhibitions, including the Southeast Asian Ceramics Festival series in the Philippines, China, and Virginia, supported by grants from the Toyota Foundation, Asian Cultural Council, and Ayala Foundation. His works are housed in permanent collections across Asia and the U.S., including The Metropolitan Museum Manila and BenCab Museum.

- Alfred E. Steck Memorial Prize for Sculpture (2017)
He teaches ceramics at The Art League (VA) and directs the visual arts program at St. Anselm’s Abbey School (DC), while conducting workshops at District Clay Center. His research explores cultural dilemmas through traditional and contemporary ceramic practices.
