Hadeer Omar

Hadeer Omar is an Egyptian new media artist and Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar). She holds an MFA and BFA from VCUarts Qatar, specializing in design and graphic design. Her work explores cultural identity, memory, and self through immersive XR media, photography, and performance art. Omar’s research often intersects technology and socio-cultural narratives, particularly in the MENA region.
