Göran Millqvist serves as Professor of Private Law at Stockholm University's Department of Law. He holds several significant leadership positions including Director of the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law (SCCL), Chair of the Justice Edvard Cassel Foundation, and Editor of Juridisk Tidskrift.
His academic focus centers on Commercial Law with particular expertise in Personal Property Law and Insolvency Law. His research examines how international frameworks, especially the Cape Town Convention and its protocols concerning Aircraft Equipment and Railway Rolling Stock (UNIDROIT/IAO Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment), impact Swedish legal development.
