Gérard Chanteur

Gérard Chanteur is a CNRS Research Director affiliated with the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP) at École Polytechnique and Sorbonne University. His primary institutional affiliations include the Polytechnic School in Palaiseau and the Pierre & Marie Curie Campus in Paris. As part of LPP’s research infrastructure, he contributes to collaborative projects across multiple disciplines.

His research expertise spans plasmas in the solar system, with a focus on planetary studies such as Mercury, Mars, Earth, Ganymede, and Titan. He also specializes in multi-satellite data analysis, advancing methodologies for interpreting spatial data.
