György Busics is an Associate Professor at Óbuda University's Alba Regia Faculty of Engineering, where he works in the Institute of Geoinformatics. He holds a PhD in Earth Sciences (2008) and graduated as a Civil Engineer from Budapest University of Technology (1977).

His research focuses on GNSS technologies, geodetic network optimization, satellite positioning, and reference system transformations in geodesy. He has also contributed to quality assurance methodologies in geodetic measurements.
