Péter Engler serves as Associate Professor at the Institute of Geoinformatics, Alba Regia Faculty of Engineering, Óbuda University, Székesfehérvár, Hungary. His four-decade career bridges civil engineering foundations with advanced geospatial applications.
Education:

- M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Budapest University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering (1982)
- PhD, Budapest University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering (1987)
Research Focus: Specializes in terrestrial photogrammetry, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and terrain modeling. Integrates photointerpretation, cartography, and topography with modern remote sensing techniques for practical geospatial solutions in engineering contexts.
