Gwyneth Jones

Gwyneth Jones is a Senior Lecturer in Dance Performance at Bowdoin College's Department of Theater and Dance. Her professional career includes extensive work with renowned dance companies such as Dan Wagoner and Dancers, Douglas Dunn & Dancers, and Ram Island Dance Company.

Her artistic contributions extend to choreographic consulting, notably collaborating with playwright/director Richard Nelson on projects like The Michaels (NY Times Critic’s Pick) and What Happened?: The Michaels Abroad (NY Times Best Theater of 2021), as well as The Apples: Conversations in Difficult Times, a Zoom play developed during the pandemic.

Awarded the Maine Arts Commission Individual Artist Fellowship, Jones has also been a guest artist at the London Contemporary Dance Company. Her expertise bridges performance, choreography, and interdisciplinary theater collaborations.
