Guyonne LEDUC serves as a Professor at the University of Lille within the Faculty of Languages, Culture and Societies and the Department of English Studies. She is affiliated with CNU SECTION 11 - ENGLISH AND ANGLO-SAXON LANGUAGES AND LITERATURE and conducts research at ULR 4074 - CENTER FOR STUDIES IN CIVILIZATIONS, LANGUAGES AND FOREIGN LITERATURE.
Her research expertise spans multiple interconnected domains:
- British Literature of the early modern period
- Civilization Studies focusing on British cultural history
- History of Ideas and Mentalities (17th-18th centuries)
- Studies on Women, Sex and Gender
Professor LEDUC specializes in British Studies with particular attention to how gender dynamics shaped intellectual and cultural developments during the 17th and 18th centuries. Her work bridges literary analysis, historical investigation, and gender theory to explore the complex interplay between ideas, social structures, and individual experiences in early modern Britain.
