Gustavo Guzman, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at St. Mary's University since July 2023 (previously part-time since 2007). He retired after 30 years as a police executive and now combines academic teaching with consulting for law enforcement agencies. His expertise spans police management, criminal justice ethics, and legal frameworks in criminal justice.

Research & Professional Work: Dr. Guzman advises police agencies on policy development and serves as a subject matter expert in criminal, civil, and police arbitration cases. His interests include leadership training for law enforcement and ethical decision-making in criminal justice systems.
