Gustaf Fryksén is a Researcher and doctoral candidate in History at Lund University's Department of History. Affiliated as an Assistant in the History Sweden and the Mediterranean World program and an Archivist in the Department of Collections, his work focuses on Sweden, the Mediterranean, and the Ottoman world from 1680 to 1830. His PhD project, The House of Logie, explores consular families' roles in 18th-century trade and diplomacy through multinational archival research. Fryksén holds degrees in medicine, languages, and archival science, blending interdisciplinary expertise.
