Dr. Gurpreet Kaur serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine since 2015, while also holding a Lecturer position at California State University, Dominguez Hills, School of Public Health and Health Sciences. Her expertise bridges medical training and public health disaster management.

Dr. Kaur's research centers on psychosocial disaster dynamics, with emphasis on vulnerable populations' emergency preparedness and mental health resilience.
