Prof. Gunlög Fur researches indigenous histories and Nordic colonialism at Linnaeus University. Her work analyzes Swedish-Indigenous encounters, gender dynamics in colonial contexts, and uses of oral history. Previously Deputy Vice-Chancellor (2021-2023) and Dean of Arts/Humanities (2016-2020), she founded the Centre for Concurrences in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies.
Education: PhD History (Oklahoma, 1993). Awards: Royal Swedish Academy of Letters membership.
