Gunilla Larsen serves as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health and Care Sciences at Linnaeus University's Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, while concurrently managing the Human Resource Management (HRM) programme at the School of Economics and Business Administration. Her dual appointment bridges health sciences and business administration domains.
Her research adopts a salutogenic perspective on health, investigating personnel management, leadership dynamics, and wellbeing. Recent expansions include happiness studies and relationship violence analysis. Teaching focuses on strategic HRM areas including salutogenic leadership, SAM/OSA frameworks, health-socioeconomics, and wellbeing at both basic and advanced levels in Swedish and English.
As a doctoral student at Linköping University, she integrates ongoing research with academic supervision of bachelor's and master's theses. Her work emphasizes organizational renewal through leadership development and health-promoting practices within the Leadership and Organizational Renewal research environment.
