Gunilla Gunnarsson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education at Linnaeus University's Faculty of Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in science education and works primarily within the educational science core of teacher education (UVK). Her academic affiliations include the Center for Science and Technology Education, the Research Group for Value Pedagogical Research, and Curriculum Theory and Didactics (SITE).
Her research interests focus on didactics, learning and teaching in schools and universities, with particular emphasis on science education, mathematics education, and teacher professional development. Gunnarsson has conducted significant research on classroom interactions, value pedagogy, and sexual harassment prevention in educational settings.
