Dr. Gunes Dasli is a CARA Research Fellow at Loughborough University and a Post-Doc Research Fellow at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. She holds a PhD in Reconciliation Studies (Jena University, 2023) with a thesis on transitional justice and the Kurdish conflict, awarded summa cum laude. Her research focuses on post-conflict reconciliation, feminist moral philosophy, and gendered peacebuilding in the Middle East. She has consulted on Iraq's transitional processes and was part of Turkey’s Peace Process advisory team (2013-2015).

Grants and consulting projects include evaluations of conflict resolution frameworks in Turkey and Iraq. Current focus includes maternal movements and necropolitical violence in Turkey’s Kurdish regions.
