Guillermo Giannico

Guillermo Giannico is a Professor in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences at Oregon State University, with affiliations to Oregon Sea Grant and OSU Extension. His work bridges research, teaching, and outreach in freshwater ecology and watershed management.

His recent publications reveal a strong emphasis on climate vulnerability of native fish, barriers to fish movement, restoration ecology (including novel Stage 0 approaches), and interactions between agriculture and aquatic biodiversity. His work often involves interdisciplinary collaboration and the use of advanced tracking technologies like PIT tags.
