Phaedra Budy

Dr. Phaedra Budy serves as a Professor in the Department of Watershed Sciences at Utah State University and as Unit Leader of the U.S. Geological Survey's Utah Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. Her work spans multiple institutions and research partnerships, with significant contributions to aquatic ecology, fish conservation, and river management across western North America.

Her research interests focus on fish ecology, aquatic conservation biology, invasion ecology, and food web dynamics, with particular expertise in native fish conservation in desert river systems.
