Guillaume Spielmann, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology at Louisiana State University (LSU) and holds an adjunct Associate Professor position at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. He earned a BSc in Immunology and Toxicology from Edinburgh Napier University (2007), an MSc in Exercise Science from the University of Houston (2010), and a PhD in Immunology from Edinburgh Napier University (2012).
His research explores how psychological and physiological stressors, including obesity, physical inactivity, microgravity, and aging, impact immune system aging and bioenergetics. He previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow on a NASA-funded project for three years.
