Guillaume DELEMAZURE is a part-time Lecturer in the Architecture Department. He holds a Diploma in architecture from ENSAIS (1992), a DEA in Spatial Systems and Regional Planning from Louis Pasteur University (1993), and a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute (1997). He is currently pursuing a PhD on "architecture of border towns." His professional experience includes roles as a project manager and partner at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Switzerland, and as the founder of his own architectural agency in 2007.
Research Interests:
- Development of hybrid urban and architectural typologies in border areas
- Architectural responses to cross-border urbanism
- Design methodologies in contemporary architecture
His work explores the intersection of architecture and urban planning in contested or transitional spaces, with a focus on creating unique typologies that respond to the complexities of border regions.
