Gudrun Elin Rohde

Gudrun Elin Rohde is a Professor in Health Sciences at the University of Agder (UiA), Department of Health and Nursing Science. She holds a master's (2003) and PhD (2010) in Health Sciences from the University of Oslo. She serves as a research supervisor at Sorlandet Hospital's Department of Clinical Research and leads UiA's Q-safe research group focusing on patient safety and hospital quality. She is board member of national networks like LIVSFORSK and PROMiNET, and an active member of international groups such as EORTC-QOL and ISOQOL, where she co-chairs the Response Shift Interest Group. Her clinical background spans orthopedics, surgery, cancer care, and management, with 20 years of teaching/supervision in hospital care, palliative care, and research methodology. Since 2021, she has been an Honorary Professor at University College London's Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Department.
