Guannan Qu is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on designing real-time control algorithms to ensure safe and efficient operation of energy systems with high renewable energy penetration, addressing challenges posed by renewable volatility. He previously served as a Resnick Postdoctoral Fellow (2019).
