Guangya Yang

Guangya Yang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Wind and Energy Systems, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with expertise in power system stability, control, and protection of low-inertia systems, particularly in offshore wind applications. He has worked full-time as an electrical design and simulation specialist at Ørsted (2020-2021) and maintains active roles in IEEE, IEC standardization, and editorial work as lead editor for IEEE Access PES.

Key contributions include validating synchronous condensers for low-inertia systems and developing industry training programs on offshore wind control strategies.
