Dr. Guang Yue is a Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and affiliated faculty in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at NJIT. He serves as Director of the Center for Mobility and Rehabilitation Engineering Research at Kessler Foundation and previously led the Neural Control Laboratory and Rehabilitation Research at Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute for 18 years.
Dr. Yue holds a PhD in motor control/sensorimotor neuroscience from the University of Iowa and completed postdoctoral training in neurophysiology at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on sensorimotor neuroscience, neurorehabilitation, neuroimaging, neuromuscular physiology, and biomechanics, supported by NIH, DoD, VA, and NJ Commission on Brain Injury Research.
His work spans aging-related motor decline, stroke recovery mechanisms, and novel imaging techniques for traumatic brain injury. Research highlights include studies on corticomuscular coupling, brain connectivity during fatigue, and fractal-based brain morphometry analysis.
