Greta Friedemann-Sánchez

Greta Friedemann-Sánchez is a Professor of International Development at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on gender equity, child and family policy, and international development, with a particular emphasis on Colombia and India. She leads two major research initiatives: the COLPAZ project evaluating Colombia's intimate partner violence law and the IDREAM study examining caregiving challenges for children with Type 1 diabetes in India.

She employs mixed-methods approaches, including interviews and surveys, to analyze institutional barriers to policy implementation and caregiver support systems.
