Gregory Zolnerowich

Gregory Zolnerowich is a Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in the Department of Entomology at Kansas State University. His work focuses on systematics, phylogenetics of parasitic Hymenoptera, and biodiversity of prairie insects. He curates the KSU Museum of Entomological and Prairie Arthropod Research (KSU-MEPAR), housing 365,000 specimens across 15,853 taxa from 109 countries.

He advises three graduate students: Cameron Allen (Cleridae revisions), Alan Burke (Tillinae systematics), and Shelly Wiggam (patch burn grazing impacts).

Recent collaborative work includes a checklist of Noctuoidea in the northern Flint Hills and contributions to the Biodiversity Information System Lab and Museum portal. His publications span 15+ years, emphasizing taxonomic revisions and phylogenetic analysis in Coleoptera and Hymenoptera.
