Gregory Koutnik is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Beloit College. He holds a PhD (2020), MA (2017), and BA (2013) in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively. His research focuses on environmental political theory, U.S. political thought, agrarianism, and ecological populism, with emphasis on figures like Aldo Leopold and Wendell Berry. He teaches courses including U.S. Federal Government, Political Theory, and Environmental Political Theory.
