Greg Fegan

Professor Greg Fegan serves as Director of the Swansea Trials Unit and Professor of Clinical Trials at Swansea University's Faculty of Health Medicine and Life Science, School of Medicine Health Data Science. He joined Swansea University in December 2015 after spending approximately 25 years working internationally across Kenya, the United States, and The Gambia with prestigious organizations including the University of Oxford and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Greg Fegan holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Tulane University in New Orleans and an MSc in Information Systems Engineering from South Bank University. He is also an Accredited Professional Statistician with the American Statistical Association, reflecting his strong foundation in statistical methods for clinical research.

Professor Fegan's research spans multiple critical areas including clinical trials methodology, statistical data analysis, epidemiology, and global health, with particular expertise in infectious diseases (especially malaria), immunization, and malnutrition.
