Greg Alcock serves as Director of Physiotherapy at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, Western University, and Advanced Health Care Practice Field Lead for the Sport and Exercise Medicine Master’s program—the first integrated physician-physiotherapist training program in Canada. He delivers clinical care, event coverage, and applied research across professional, recreational, and varsity athletic domains while aligning practice with IFOMPT and IFSPT international standards.
His educational background includes:
- MSc in Physiotherapy (MSc PT)
- Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy (BHSc PT)
- BA Honours in Physical Education (BA Hons PE)
- Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy (Dip. Manip.)
Greg’s research centers on optimizing return-to-sport outcomes through lower extremity pathology analysis, injury prevention frameworks, and rehabilitation prognosis modeling. His work integrates biomechanical assessment with evidence-based protocols to address sport-specific functional deficits, particularly in knee and ankle complex injuries.
He has received the prestigious Fellow designation from the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT), recognizing advanced clinical expertise.

As an instructor and examiner in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division, Greg mentors clinicians through certification pathways and has held executive roles in national orthopaedic leadership.
