Grainne Kelly is a Lecturer at the School of Applied Social and Policy Sc., Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Ulster University. Her work focuses on reconciliation processes and peacebuilding in Northern Ireland, with a particular emphasis on community-based approaches and practical implementation. She has contributed to several reports and academic publications on this topic.

Her research interests include:
- Post-conflict reconciliation
- Community engagement in peace processes
- Oral history applications in conflict resolution

She has participated in numerous academic events including the Conflict Research Society Annual Conference (2022) and international workshops on reconciliation. Grainne supervises PhD researchers such as Katriona Lawrenson and Judy Magill.
