Graham Weaver is a Lecturer in Management and the Larsen Lam Family Lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). He holds an MBA from Stanford GSB and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University (highest honors). Weaver is the founder and partner of Alpine Investors, a PeopleFirst private equity firm focused on software and services, which he launched from his dorm room at Stanford. His teaching focuses on managerial skills and strategies for growing enterprises.
Research interests center on entrepreneurship, leadership development, and private equity dynamics. His case studies examine diverse industries including tech startups, financial services, and luxury brands. He received the 2024 MBA Distinguished Teaching Award from Stanford GSB.
