Graham Lister

Graham Lister is a Visiting Professor at London South Bank University and a Senior Fellow at the Global Health Programme of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. He holds advanced degrees (MSc, PhD) in sociology and economics, with expertise in health policy, value-for-money analysis, and global health diplomacy.

His career includes extensive international consulting through C&L (now PwC), establishing major health consulting practices in Africa and Europe. He has advised WHO, DfID, USAID, and other global health organizations, focusing on health negotiations, EU accession state training, and East African health leadership development. Key contributions include founding Global Health Europe, coordinating the UK's first national global health program, and organizing the inaugural International Conference on Health and Foreign Policy.

Active in UK health governance, he served on boards such as NICE Partners Council and the Health Protection Agency. His teaching and executive training focus on global health diplomacy and governance, reflecting his dual role as academic and practitioner.
