Professor Graham Hutchings CBE FRS is the Regius Professor of Chemistry at Cardiff University, leading the School of Chemistry and the Cardiff Catalysis Institute. His research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis, particularly gold nanocrystals, selective oxidation and hydrogenation catalysts, and in situ spectroscopy techniques. He is renowned for pioneering the use of gold in catalytic applications, including environmental and industrial processes.
