معرفی
Dr Graham Cole is a Consultant Cardiologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the National Heart & Lung Institute, part of Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine. His expertise lies in cardiac imaging and clinical research, with a focus on optimizing imaging techniques for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. He holds an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Pathology) from the University of Cambridge, where he earned First Class Honours and the Roger Morris Prize for Surgery. His postgraduate training included clinical roles at leading London hospitals, followed by a BHF-funded PhD on cardiac function quantification. He leads Cardiac MRI services in cardiomyopathy, heart failure, myocarditis, and coronary artery disease, with a high-volume practice (>1200 cases/year). His research integrates AI for imaging quality control and clinical decision-making, as seen in projects like the ORBITA-2 trial evaluating PCI efficacy. He is actively involved in cardiovascular trials, including the ORBITA-COSMIC trial on coronary sinus reducers for angina. His work also extends to post-COVID-19 myocardial injury and remote monitoring in heart failure. Dr Cole’s contributions span academic leadership in imaging innovation, clinical care, and translational research.
