Graeme Young is a Lecturer in Social and Public Policy at the University of Glasgow’s School of Social & Political Sciences. He holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge (2018). His research focuses on the political economy of development, international peace operations, and state-market dynamics, with a particular emphasis on informal economic activity and inclusive economies in urban contexts. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, Visiting Researcher at the University of Cape Town, and Scholar in Residence at NYU’s Center for Human Rights and Global Justice.
