Graeme Broadbent is a Professor in Vocal Studies at the Royal College of Music (RCM), where he has taught singing since 2001. He studied at the RCM with Lyndon Van der Pump, earning multiple diplomas (Teaching, Opera, Postgraduate, Performing), and later pursued postgraduate solo singing studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow (1990-1991) under Yevgeny Nesterenko, supported by British Council and Soviet Government scholarships.

A renowned bass singer, Broadbent has performed 137 operatic roles globally, including at the Royal Opera House, Bolshoi Opera, and major festivals. Notable roles include Angelotti with Luciano Pavarotti, King Marke in Tristan und Isolde, and Odin in the world premiere of Gavin Higgins' The Monstrous Child. His concert repertoire spans works like Mahler's 8th Symphony and Shostakovich's 14th Symphony.
