Grace Livingston is Professor and Chair of African American Studies at the University of Puget Sound, where she plays a central role in shaping interdisciplinary scholarship on race, pedagogy, and social justice. She is a co-founder of the Race and Pedagogy Institute and the Race and Pedagogy Journal, and has led the development of both the minor and major in African American Studies.
