Grace (Weishi) Gu is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University. Her research focuses on international finance, macro labor economics, and climate risks, employing dynamic programming and micro-level data analysis. Prior to UCSC, she conducted research at institutions including the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, the International Monetary Fund, and think tanks such as Brookings and the American Enterprise Institute.
