Govind Krishnamoorthy

Govind Krishnamoorthy is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Psychology and Wellbeing. A clinical psychologist, his research improves mental health and educational outcomes for marginalized children through trauma-informed and recovery-oriented frameworks.

Research encompasses school-based mental health systems, digital interventions, culturally responsive practices for First Nations communities, and caregiver support models. Recent publications focus on implementation science, equity-driven reforms, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

As Principal Investigator at the Health and Biomedical Research Centre, he leads projects on differentiated support frameworks for students with disabilities and trauma-responsive educational practices.
